Our Heritage
In the heart of Shropshire, a county steeped in farming history, lies a man who has his own story behind the beloved pork scratching.
A favourite snack for our founder as a young boy, on fishing trips with his grandfather, looking forward to the lunchtime treat after soggy sandwiches, to pinching from his father’s packet in the local pub, whilst he took his turn on the dart board.
At The Shropshire Scratchings Company, we understand the importance of tradition and nostalgia. We strive to maintain the upmost quality of our historically loved product, whilst also giving it a modern twist by introducing new flavours.
